MARK C. CLAYTON KAPPA ALPHA PSI ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

About the Scholarship

In keeping with the fraternity’s objective “to assist the aims and purposes of colleges and universities,” the Savannah (GA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. proudly offers an academic scholarship dedicated to supporting deserving students in our community. Established in 2004, the scholarship is funded through the Mark C. Clayton Kappa Alpha Psi Endowment, named in honor of Bro. Dr. Mark C. Clayton. This endowment provides annual scholarship opportunities for students enrolled at the following institutions:

 

Savannah State University

Georgia Southern University – Armstrong

 

We remain committed to promoting academic excellence, student success and achievement among undergraduate students who exemplify the values and spirit of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

 

Scholarship Criteria

Applicants must meet the minimum requirements, which include being enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and African American, classified as juniors, and must demonstrate good character and service. Additionally, applicants must be in good standing with the university and must complete the scholarship application in full.
